To celebrate the International Museum Day 2014, Tung Sin Tong Historical Archive Exhibition Hall will participate in the grand event “Macao International Museum Day Fair” at Taipa with local museums. On 18 May, Tung Sin Tong Historical Archive Exhibition Hall will hold the “Open Day-2nd Floor Historical Article Gallery” and the “Tung Sin Art Sponge Postcard” DIY workshop.
To accommodate the theme “Museum Collections Make Connections” of the “2014 International Museum Day”, the booth will show introduction video of the Tung Sin Tong Historical Archive Gallery, as well as selected scenes of the animated documentary “Life is Like a Song” to introduce the history of Tung Sin Tong to public. In addition, through the carnival game “Happy Tung Sin Tong Congee”, visitors can learn the history of Tung Sin Tong and receive a souvenir.
On 18 May, 2nd Floor Historical Articles Gallery will be opened for visit and free guided service will be provided. To protect the ninety-year-old historical building, the number of visitors is limited and visitors will be divided into three sessions. At 4:00 p.m., it will hold the “Tong Sin Art Sponge Postcard” DIY workshop at the lobby of the hall where visitors can handmade their own Tung Sin Tong featured postcard.
The application of the Open Day starts from now until 18 May. If you would like to join, you are requested to apply in advance.
